Some of the game looks cheap or like it’s going to just feel awful to play. I’ve heard the “it’s pre alpha” statement. The game releases in 3-weeks, we should be seeing more than an alpha build.

7 players is too much to handle, too much split pressure from the human side. Building cocoons for Klowns is too much of a time investment and isn't even worth it (it's just more second chances for humans). Klown side looks cooked even with major nerfs to the human side. Who knows though, maybe there's different gameplay elements on the Klown side to allow for a more fighting chance but I don't see it. Either way, I like the F13 vibes to it. Should be fun for a short while at least.

I remember watching the movies as a kid, the puppets and toys are two separate movies, but they did a crossover of toys versus puppets, and the man is the creator of the puppets I believe, the puppets protect him or their owners I can't remember LOL.

Survivors only looked “too strong” because they used 3 of the same glass-canyon Klowns in the match. Imagine making a review video and not paying attention

I'm always a mix with games like this, love dbd with playing both roles but does suck a little dbd survivors are just practically cosmetic survivor side

All asymmetrics need balancing, I don't care that KKFOS does too. I read people worried because the klowns die quickly, but they are not playing "very well" either, and it is an alpha version, I do not lose faith, what I have seen I already like and... do you really think this is it? 💪🤡

Yeah I remember when Friday the 13th dropped I was so excited to play it… When I found out that you have to wait for your turn to play Jason that really disappointed me but I was like “let’s give it a try still” NO joke I went like 2 weeks and a half without getting the chance to play Jason… I stopped playing it for good after that

I don't think that Illfonic should be focusing too much on making Killer Klowns extremely balanced as I don't think every game has to be a competitive ranked e-sport game.

If you guys wanna play killer klowns early all you have to do is go to the nearest trash can and pull out the biggest piece of garbage you can find.

Something I realized is that they are playing the convention demo, they probably just wanted to show how it works but it is not the final result and they cannot show the other one since it would show things that it should not

As a killer main myself, (mostly from TCM, Friday, and dbd) I’m worried, but Illfonic did say it was early build. So I’m gonna take the word for it. But the fact they would just show off an early build with the game releasing in 3 WEEKS is crazy to me especially when in one game as a Klown, the community director was trying to perform a Klowntality and the lead creative designer got visibly irritated as if to not show the 1.3k people watching!( seriously that’s how many people were watching)

Well, since the humans are OP I guess the game is doomed to fail. Dang, I really was looking forward to this game since I was a fan of the movie. Welp, looks like DBD is still going to be the asymmetrical king again for the gazillionth time.

Honestly, I was kind of skeptical of this game for a while now, I haven’t preordered because of this, seeing the stream, didn’t help make my decision. The only reason I want to preorder is because of fomo. Although it gets a lot of negative criticism, I think TCM is still probably the best Asym game out right now (just my opinion), and I don’t think it’s going to change due to this game.

hmm with your 1k hours of playing games like dbd and you're this dumb about killer clowns is crazy. clowns can come back every time while humans can come back once. Killer clowns need to power up by getting NPC humans before focusing on players. The game is balanced that way but the only issue is that you can't pick your side

I'll be honest I haven't kept up with this game but knew it was coming out soon, so I'm just now seeing gameplay for the first time. When I saw how strong the humans were in the live stream, I assumed it was 3v4 and was floored when I learned its actually 3v7. The preference queue is probably a good idea because based on how it looks now, no one is going to want to play Klowns after a week or two.

Judging how one side is stronger than the other based off of a devs gameplay is probably not best. The true judge will be us gamers. Devs don’t really show off games in general very well.

Agreed. I was watching the stream and seeing the klowns go down so easy was rough. Even that one guy on stream said something like, "Downed instantly. Wooow!", which I have a feeling a lot of klown players are going to be experiencing the same pain at launch. One human took awhile to die with all 3 klowns on them, yet a klown can be two-shotted by 1 survivor. Maybe they wanted to put emphasis on klowns staying together, which is cool, but that means klowns will be leaving other escape routes open. Speaking of, seeing humans escape surrounded by all 3 klowns was rough too. Gave me DbD PTSD of people popping gens right in front of my face. So much for being a "scary killer". And I agree, I hated hearing the preference matchmaking. Some days you just want to play one side more than the other. And if I keep getting the side I don't feel like playing, I will probably just go play something else and it will turn me off from wanting to even go back to the game. It also doesn't make sense for them to make it preference based whenever there are bots to help pad out the human side (which is the side that needs more players). It makes me think that they are afraid people won't want to play klowns. And by seeing how weak they are... They might be right. lol But, negative stuff aside, the game does look fun. Hopefully they can find a good balance eventually and change their mind about the whole preference thing. I'm not too sure on the latter (devs are often pretty stubborn when it comes to things like this), but hopefully they can at least make the game a blast for both sides. But they need to make changes quick, if the launch is rocky. As we all know, with asym games, if you are too slow on balance fixes, your game is basically dead in the water.
